Over at Storyboard Kits there is a sketch challenge with some AMAZING prizes! We had to follow the sketch and incorporate one of the listed techniques. As you can see above this is my take on the sketch and I have used the painted background (pink) and uneven background (the houses). Something a little different..but tried to keep it simple at the same time! Thanks for taking a look and check out the kits at Storyboard!
this is awesome Bel...great to see some of your beautiful work again {hugs} Mazz x
ReplyDeleteHey Belinda! Thanks for joining in with The Great Storyboard Challenge! There really are some fabulous prizes! Best of luck with it.
ReplyDeleteAs for that other (loaded) question!!!! LOL! My first venture into DTs was with Scrapboxx. Strangely enough it was a competition that I fortunately won! Cam was only a few months old so it was crazy there for a while! I need to work around my kids. If you have a place where you can leave your work out on a surface without it being touched, well... that's a bonus! hee hee.. For now, during daylight hours I gather my supplies (colours that blend well together) and scrap at night after they go to bed or on the weekend where hubby can supervise! It can be done with a little organization! (I've finally worked that one out! LOL!)
You just need to apply to DTs. If you want it bad enough - go for it. Any of them. Big or small. Someone will love your work and be perfect for them. You will get heaps of rejections too. Don't let that bother you. Just know that there will be something out there that waiting for you to find them.
I wish you the very best of luck. Offer your best work, stay true to yourself and you can't go wrong.
Take care and thanks for visiting my little ole blog! :D
Great to see you're still scrapbooking, you busy mum! Beautiful layout. xx
