Scrapmaster Practice LO's

Here are the LO I promised to upload this morning..now we have sunshine! They are also using the monthly Scrapboxx Box of Scraps..thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak!

What have I been up to!

After a busy busy weekend with Dave's Mum, Dad, sister and fiance here to have a belated 60th Birthday for his Dad..you can see the cake I made below (think I have been watching too many cake shows on foxtel LOL) I have been madley scrapping (at night) to get ready for the Scrap master competition over at Scrapability Sketches oh and completing my Build a Page at The Boxx.



At Scrapability Sketches we have had a week to do 3 challenges (due tonight) then tonight the REAL challenges are revealed. It's a week by week thing and each week you either get in or out...till finally we have a Scrapmaster! I'm just really interested in getting some photo's of Khloe scrapped and finished before the new bub arrives (who is kicking the absolute s**t out of me at the moment!)..so not really expecting to get very far..but I'll keep you posted! Will upload my practice challenges later when the fog clears so I can take the photo's..then out into the garden today I think.



Oh and have you all checked out the new Stampin 'Up catalogue...just put in the order for my SIL wedding invites and well ONE POWERBALL..and I think I'd buy the whole catalogue LOL. If you interested visit Amanda at Stampin Style!



Well I think I had better go and feed the little monster..she made me laugh yesterday I asked her if she wanted two piggies in her hair and she replied by snorting like a pig LOL...THANKS AUNTY YO YO!

JAI31 - A colour challenge

At Just Add Ink this weeks challenge is a colour challenges using these great colours below!


Now I don't normally do colour challenges, for some reason I never know where to start. But for this one all I could picture was a chirstmas card (like I noticed many others whom have done the challenge had adopted)....but once again what I started out to do..I didn't! I used up some more scraps...YEAH and got a bit carried away last night, but had lots of fun with my new toy (Sizzix Big Shot) and was able to finish it this morning after my lovely father at the Boyanup Markets offered to take Khloe for the day...not sure what mum thought?

So here is what I created..........


All the card/ tags have the same design I have just added different labels to them.

Now do I scrap some more while I'm alone or do I have a sleep??? Maybe I will have lunch and then decide!

Scrapboxx Fortnightly Challenge

So with Jane taking over Scrapboxx...we now have a fortnightly challenge rather than the weekly one (which suits me fine because I always seemed to miss out the one on the weeks Dave was home). This week the lovely Jodie Butler set the challenge and it was to use ONLY SCRAPS! I had sooo many ideas (and scraps)...but this is what I came up with.

Now hopefully I can get a few more LO done over the weekend with this head cold hopefully (fingers crossed) under control!

Busy Busy Day

Here is a picture of my latest scan that I had done yesterday..not as good as the last scan, but all is well!

This morning I was cooking up a storm in the kitchen..cooked roast for dinner, melting moment, a few choccie cakes, 2 sponges and some mini quiches and a loaf of bread is just about ready, and all done by 1pm! Tried to do some scrapping but I had a little helper which made it impossible..so I had a nap on the couch!

Well think I had better think about reheating dinner as it must be nearly that time!

This is a LO is have done for that was for August Scrap The Girls..but don't think it is messy enough for there theme though..so just a random that's been half done for awhile



This is usung the September 09 BOS from Scrapboxx...has taken me ages to work out what to do with the papers as I find it so hard to use Webster pages..I just don't want to mess these beautiful pages up. Think the LO came out ok..

That's all for today..think I had better go do something else!

Scrapboxx Whisper number 2

It is such a beautiful day outside...I should really be out there enjoying but I decide to do my LO for the Scrapboxx whisper....sorry I can't post a picture YET..but I will. Hopefully a few more LO will evolve over the next few days!

I had better go re-tidy the house after I finished my house work..but CYCLONE KHLOE has been through while I have been scrapping! Oh and had better tackle the mountain of ironing..yuk!

Last night I was a little lost...normally Khloe in bed by 6:30 -7:00pm on computer check emails/blogs and do anything else I wanted done before 7:30pm Master Chef...but it's finished so I decided I would make a card for my FIL 60th next week. Scrapboxx Weekly Challenge

Ok so after my mammoth effort over the weekend I decided that while I have everything out (a mess) I would continue and complete the Boxx weekly challenge. We had to redo one of our very first LO's.....here's what I came up with!

I have now cleaned the computer room up...no scrap mess anywhere, but I'm hopeing to still get a few more LO done in the next few days..we will see!

BOXX CYBER CROP

OK so I have been busy this weekend.....we have had friends stay Friday night, I was planning to do The Scrapboxx cyber crop on Saturday after they had gone, but I think the site got a bit overloaded from Friday night and it had crashed...so I had a sleep instead! Sunday Dave's parents came to visit (got some scrapping done with a babysitter on hand :) and today I have been busy finishing all 7 LO's for the crop...thanks to Dave taking Khloe to swimming and entertaining her! So just thought I would share my creations.


Oh and some news for those that don't know I'm 17 weeks pregnant with number 2..due 28th Dec 2010 ( a pic of the new bub below). So I had better gets some more scrpping done before I have no time at all!

Scrapboxx Whisper

Ok so over at Scrapboxx I have patiently been waiting to see how my LO was started and finished..(I was number 3 out of 10). This was my LO and if you pop over to Scrapboxx you can see them all!

Whisper number 2 has started can't wait to get a bit more scrapping done!

Been too busy to scrap :(

Ok so it has been awhile since my last entry..no scrapping done since then due to hubby being home for 3 weeks (which was great). So while he was home we took advantage of the lovely weather and overhauled my vege garden (will try and get a photo), he went and got wood for the fire oh and we where in Kal for 4-5 days then add swimming lessons, shopping (day trips to Bunbury) and the odd nanna nap...and the 3 weeks have gone :(

We did have a little party with Khloe's Grandparents...an early 2nd Birthday for her as hubby not home on Saturday when she turns 2. So a few pic's to follow from cleaning the bowl to having some cake!

Now I have the Scrap whisper for Kat so hopefully this will give me the incentive to get scrapping again and I can't wait for the 16th July to do the Boxx cyber crop (already booked hubby to control the house).

SO hopefully you will see some LO shortly as I have been blog hopping a bit lately and there are so many ideas that I really want to do.....STAY TUNED:)

JAI #17 Take 2...

Ok still hooked on the Faux SIlk look I decided to have a play with a Save the date card. My SIL has asked me to help her on the weekend and I have no idea what colours, theme etc she wants so thought it would be just something for me to have a play with!!

Now I'm also hoping to have a go at those lovely flowers....but we will see what happens tonight!

JUST ADD INK BLOG HOP!

OK so it's been a while since I have made and entry...just been busy! SO i decided to have a look over at JAI and see what was happening! They were having a Blog Hop which really caught my eye. SO after clicking through some pages I had some inspiration to get out my SCRAPS and have a play!

I decided to first have a go at Bronwyn Eastley's Paper bead and Faux silk...with a card that I'm happy with!



Still keen to have a play the next entry with be my second go!

Ok so this week we need to add dimension. Now I needed to make a card for the wedding on the weekend so this is what I came up with...kept it simple. I have used the same colours as for the Wedding Guest book that I did for them...you can see that below in a previous entry.
